Stopped working in less than a year.
First purchase stopped working within a year. Contacted Vtech. They “generously” replaced the unit. The second one again stopped working just outside of a year- coincidentally right after an update that was done on the system. Contacted Vtech – they said as this was a replacement unit they couldn’t help. Contacted Amazon they told me they couldn’t help either.This product is apparently not designed to last more than a year. Can’t compare to other brands yet but will need to get a replacement as we don’t have a working baby monitor currently.

Have been using this for a year now and it does the job but wouldn’t choose it again. The picture quality is much more clear when using the app on your phone, versus using the actual video monitor. However, the app isn’t great and we’ve only been able to get it working on one phone, meaning my husband can’t access it.Find the night mode to be very finicky, had to point the camera just right or it gets a halo that makes it impossible to see anything. The monitor is also very large, like a small iPad. Heavy, takes up a big space on the nightstand, always worried about breaking it while carrying it around the house with me – in hindsight, something smaller would’ve been much more practical.Positives – screen can be turned off at night, so it’s dark but volume stays on for baby sounds. Temp is displayed. The two way talk works well, and I sometimes use it to wake my daughter up from a nap before I can make it to her room. The app allows me to watch the camera when I’m out of the house.

Lorsque la caméra pointe vers le bas, elle devenait tout embrouillée et un gros rond apparaîssait dans la caméra. Donc la majorite du temps l’image n’etait pas clair donc nous l’utilision selon pour le son.

Good camera. However we have had our fair share of issues with it. It just stopped working one day and no matter what wouldn’t connect to the camera. I will say the vtech team was easy to work with in regards to getting it replaced.

Night vision is terrible with white furniture & pixelated
Have had this monitor for less than a year and the night vision is terrible enough when there is white furniture in the cameras view that we cannot make out the baby in the crib. We have to adjust the camera to not have the white dresser in view and then the screen adjusts. The image is also always pixelated at night.Not to mention every little thing sets off the notification regardless of sensitivity. Outside the large screen, Would not recommend.

Degrades image quality once you start to hit 2 bars off signal over antenna (wifi disabled)Overall it works. Nice big screen. Movement and sound detection is a plus.
