Best monitor I’ve owned
I’ve had multiple vtech monitors that don’t come close to this leapfrog monitor, and I wish I had found this years ago. Aside from the much larger screen, clearer picture and no wifi capabilities which I love! here are my top 6 favorite features!First image is color night vision not zoomed in on highest brightness level at nightSecond image is 8× zoom with color night vision on brightest setting at nightThird image is Greyscale night vision on brightest settingFourth image is Greyscale night vision with no night light on1. Battery Life – Amazing 👏 I can actually leave the parent unit unplugged an entire night and still have battery!2. Night Vision – OMG! Best night vision on a monitor I’ve ever experienced!! Greyscale has a very clear picture on night vision mode but the best feature about this camera is the color night vision 😃 there is a built in night light on the camera unit that makes it possible to see everything perfectly and in color.3.Night Light – 5 levels of adjustable brightness 🌞 automatically turns on for color night vision mode and automatically turns off during the day4. Up to 8× zoom – Still risk waking baby to check if they’re breathing? Not anymore! When fully zoomed in you can clearly see if your child’s chest/stomach ect is moving up and down to breath. When fully zoomed out you can see a large area without moving the camera but the camera does rotate!5. Talk back feature – there is a slight delay with this but it still works wonderful. 5 levels of volume control to choose from, controls how loud you hear noise on the parent unit and how loud the child hears your voice from the camera.6. Range – Next best feature to the color night vision! My old units could barely go to my back yard without constantly losing signal, but this unit does not have that problem! I’m able to go anywhere in my yard as well as right to the end of my driveway sit in the vehicle and still have a perfect connection 👌This monitor has a lot of other features/functions I haven’t mentioned like the melodies ect only because I don’t utilize them 🙂Highly recommend for anyone that does not require a wifi capable unit. If you need wifi I would check if they have a wifi version and give it a go!

Sound Failed on Two Units in Six Months
I used to swear by this monitor. The first one I had worked perfectly with no issues until my toddler got a hold of it and dropped it. I replaced it in October but by March the sound suddenly stopped working. I gave it another chance and bought a third one and now in June the same issue has happened again.This time it has been kept out of reach on a shelf in my room, plugged in and untouched, so there is no reason for it to stop working. Of course it failed at night while my toddler was sleeping and I had no way to get a replacement.

This product was a life saver…
We use the product for our elderly grandma who has mobility issues and risks of falls. It is really 2 devices- the monitor and the camera.- huge 7′ monitor screen. Great color.- the camera does a great job detecting sound and movement. You can adjust the sensitivity and sound- good battery life – can last several hours before it needs to be charged- would be useful to have a feature to connect to your phone but I believe that’s on a higher end unit- I would recommend this product for anyone who needs to monitor from a distance (child or elderly). 5/5!!!

This monitor is amazing
I didn’t have high expectations for this monitor and I found all the monitor brands super confusing. I didn’t know what was “good” so I took a chance on this one based on reviews and price.Trust me, buy this monitor. I was so impressed when I got it, it had way more features and better performance than expected. The picture quality is amazing and you can choose to be in colour or B&W vision mode. I can actually see my little one breathing at the angle I have the camera on which is awesome for nervous parents. So far range is great anywhere in our house or yard— monitor has no problem receiving signal.The only thing is the sound sensitivity is almost too good. It picks up someone turning on a tap in the bathroom next door even with doors closed, or me loading dishes downstairs. There is terrible feedback if the monitor is too close to the camera. So if you go to check on baby make sure you leave the monitor.Battery life on monitor is good. I only charge it once a week and use it about an hour per day. I leave the camera plugged in.There are many features like playing sound and adjusting settings that I haven’t used yet but I can see them being useful as my little one ages.

Amazing First Impression
My first impression is that the picture quality is amazing and how much of the room I can see is such an improvement from what I had before. I tried to save money on a no name brand monitor and now I wish I would have just spent a bit more to get a higher quality one right off the bat. I’m about to have baby number 3 and man do I wish I could just buy another one of these but for now I’ll just have to use my old one till it dies or I’ll feel too wasteful. The black and white night vision was so good I thought I left the curtains open in their room! I have a weird bed set up right now witch a crib in front of a bunk bed and then I use the side of an old crib between them so they don’t climb into each other’s beds. My old monitors I could basically just tell if there was movement in one or the beds, now I can see what both kids are doing even through 2 sets of bars. So impressed. Can’t speak to the battery life yet but it can’t be worse than my old one so I’m sure for me it’ll be 5 stars haha.
