Would recommend. I was reading other reviews that said they had issues connecting and such. My old monitor was always very slow to connect when you would turn it on, so maybe I’m used to it but this one is fantastic. I haven’t had any issues. The separate base is great. I place it on it every night so it charges while we sleep. Always wake me up when my baby starts crying.It has a battery so you can unplug it and move it into a separate room for a while if you need. Works great with or without wifi. I love the resolution. When my baby has a printed outfit on, I can see them breathing without needing to enter the room.

The best baby monitor!
We Bought this item and an add-on camera separately as we want a camera for both of our kids. We previously had a LeapFrog monitor that we didn’t like much. This system works flawlessly and we love that we can monitor our kids from our phones as well, from anywhere in the world. This monitor has all the features we wanted and we own several other eufy products which made the purchase a no brainer. Great job Eufy!

This is an awesome baby monitor. I love that you view the camera via the portable base or on your phone. My favourite feature is that the camera has a battery so if the power goes out the camera still works!Only downside is you can’t only buy a second camera for the monitor

Very poor functionality for the price of this camera. I bought it mainly for its wifi/non wifi functionality. Camera hardly works in the next room with the door open on non wifi. On wifi connection is just as unstable and many features from the phone do not work and it just says unable to connect to baby monitor.I also paid extra for the 4K model as it comesWith the additional camera & monitor stand. Camera stand pops off constantly & falls. Overall it is a very poor design.UPDATE- I have since spoken with Eufy and although their product did not work for our family, I appreciate their support in working to address the issues. Customer service was fast and very helpful through the whole process. I am looking forward to trying their products in the future.

Poor signal quality off Wifi
Edit:We had the unit and initially had the wifi feature on. However, after turning off the wifi of the base unit, we have struggled with poor signal quality. The receiver can only pick up the signal less than half of the time, even when the receiver is <5 m away from the camera. Essentially, the non-wifi feature of the camera is useless as it is not reliable in any way.Original:Overall we are quite happy with the E21. It has a high quality camera with nice features. The base is high quality as well. The main criticism we have about the monitor is the flexible/gooseneck arm that is included with it. It does not do a good job of holding the camera up. It constantly leans over to one side. This was one of the reasons we opted for the E21 over the E20, so we are a little disappointed with that

This is an excellent product in every way. Here I compare and contrast it to the “Babysense 5.5” 1080p Full HD Split-Screen Baby Monitor, Video Baby Monitor with 2 Cameras and Audio, 6-Color RGB Night Light, 1000ft Range, Two-Way Audio, 4X Zoom, 5000mAh Battery,” which I bought first but am returning.One principal difference is that the eufy is Wi-Fi enabled and the Babysense isn’t. I’m using a two-camera eufy set-up to monitor a kitten nursery, and it’s great to be able to see and hear what’s going on from inside the app, anywhere I have cell or internet service. The app also lets you invite people to look and listen, which is fun. It’s very well done, offering all the controls (and even more) than the supplied monitor.The eufy offers a sharper image and better color rendition, especially in low light. Night-vision is sharper too – very crisp. Everything looks better on the iPhone than the supplied monitor, but the monitor isn’t bad at all. The two monitors are pretty similar in terms of size, appearance and features.Only the eufy allows cameras to be used for nine hours in daylight and five hours of night vision without AC power, which might be useful for trips, but for 24/7 monitoring it’s best to have them plugged in. It’s dangerous to have cords that cats can chew on, but I think the power is stepped down. In any case, I bought plastic spiral cable wrap to enclose them.Focus is better with the eufy. Both brands’ cameras have standard tripod mounts, which is great. There’s a longer lag time between audio and video with the eufy, but it’s livable.Note that in the eufy, if you take a screenshot in Wi-Fi mode, the icon confusingly is a scissors, and that even if you’re zoomed in, the image won’t be.The “baby-seeking” feature of eufy is confusing and seems to work only intermittently. Eufy has four levels of zoom, vs. only three for Babysense. Color-keyed LED scale on Babysense monitor lets you watch for loud sounds rather than having to hear them.The eufy comes with only one camera, vs. the Babysene’s two. DAY 1 & IM OBSESSED!!! I had the vava baby monitor for almost 2 years and completely took a crap on us in the middle of the night!! I primed this camera after reading multiple reviews and I love that this one has a wifi or no wifi option! The specs on this camera are amazing, the quality is CLEAR! Set up for the monitor and phone is really easy too! The battery life was great, which was something our previous camera lacked. It holds a great charge and I love that you can use it without being plugged into the wall as well, example: power goes out – the camera does not! There’s a really awesome zoom feature too that allows you to zoom in on your child with one click! The functionality of this camera gives you so many options and so much relief. I will stay raving about this camera!!!
