It works with the Smart Life app from the Google Play Store and I can link it to Google Home. The camera connects to my 2.4 GHz WiFi network. In the Smart Life app, I can tap on the camera’s icon to access a live stream in either HD or SD. The app also offers a playback feature, although I need to insert an SD card into the camera for this functionality. According the user guide, it accepts SD cards with storage capacities ranging from 8 up to 128 GB. But I can manually record videos or take pictures using the app, which are then stored on my phone.The camera offers two-way communication. The camera’s speaker has a normal conversation volume level, allowing me to comfort my baby or communicate with others in the room when necessary. I can also enable night mode, choosing between automatic, manual, or turning it off completely, depending on my preferences. The camera offers motion and sound detection. I can switch these features on or off as needed, giving me the flexibility to tailor the camera’s functionality to my specific requirements. The live stream loads up quickly, taking only about two seconds to display the video feed. But the camera is wired and requires a USB-C cable for power. It includes an approximately 76-inch long USB-C cable along with a charger.

I got this to add another camera to the other bonoch cameras we have set up around the house. I was able to connect it to the rest with very little effort, and it was pretty much seamless in how it works with the rest of the system. The whole system is really easy to use, down to the app which is simple yet works really well. Some other off brand cameras have overly complicated apps, but this is easy to use and set up. I think the camera quality itself is great, but I don’t need anything super fancy just to watch my pets/monitor my baby while he sleeps. I do enjoy the addition of the temperature sensor, and the night vision works well (arguably the most important part of a baby monitor). I like that I can add up to 4 cameras so I can use them all around the house for the kids and pets if I need.

If you are looking for a small, inobtrusive device to help keep an eye on your little one, on your nanny, on your house sitter, on your pet or just on your property in general, this device does It all. And when I say does it all, I mean it has motion detection so it doesn’t have to be on all of the time, it has night vision so you can so you can keep an eye on things whatever it may be 24/7 and the night vision footage is really easy to discern. You don’t have to worry about taking useless grainy footage with this after sunset or in a dark room.And when I say in obtrusive, I mean this thing is tiny. It is so. small you would hardly even notice it unless you were looking for it. And that also means you don’t have to have a lot of surface area to set this up and install it however you want to do it.Easy to use. The user interface for this is very low tech, so it’s “everyone friendly” in my opinion lol. You don’t have to be a technological guru to figure out how this works.
