Great monitor – wish it had better range
Ordered this to monitor my husband (who has Alzheimer’s) while he is sleeping and to know when he gets up. It arrived on time and is packaged so well with every piece in a separate box and then all items in another box with padding. It took me a while to read the instructions and figure out how to set it up. There are so many functions I am still working on some of them. The parent monitor is large so I can see the picture without glasses on and the picture is bright and clear. I took it outside with me and was still able to keep a watchful eye on my husband.As I have used it more, I realize that it loses connection with the camera regularly (at first I thought I was not doing something right). It makes a loud noise each time and the picture disappears. It will hardly connect when I go out into the garage, and when I go to the room in the basement farthest from the bedroom it goes blank. I will test it a little longer, but am considering returning it. Too bad, because I really like the large screen and was so impressed with the packaging.

Don’t waste your money
It hardly works. The rang on it is horrible. It constantly shows no connection when I’m no more then a room away. Don’t waste your money

I like this because it had a tablet that came with it so it’s an all-in-one kit. There’s no cell phone or other equipment required to view the camera with not even Internet Wi-Fi connection is needed to use this camera. The tablet has a rechargeable battery pre-installed but unfortunately the camera does not it requires being plugged into a USB-C power supply. If the camera had a battery, then it would be much more versatile to be able to use outside of the home as well as around the house. It does offer a good long signal range. Good video quality along with sound as well. I like that it has the crying detection and motion detection to alert you when the baby gets up. For this price point I don’t think you’ll find much of a better option for a baby cam than this one. Especially like that it functions without any Internet connection as this is much much more secure than one that operates over your Internet. The cameras that connects to the Internet, there’s no telling who might be watching that you’re unaware of. That was a big big feature that I was looking for in a baby camera to be standalone and doesn’t require any connection to the Internet. I would highly recommend this to any parent looking for a cheap baby cam that has all the features such as this one does.

This cute baby monitor with the little ears has been my favorite to travel with. The camera has the standard screw mount if you plan on attaching it. This moves fast when changing the camera view, probably the quickest I’ve seen out of all the baby monitors I’ve used over the years. The image is clear and bright, so easy to see baby with a wide view of the space. The monitor doesn’t last as long as others, so I just keep it plugged in. I don’t love the OS for the screen and menu choices, less intuitive than most, but it’s still simple enough and gets the job done.

Pretty good baby monitor for the price. Material of the product isn’t the highest quality compared to other monitors I’ve used, however, the video resolution is solid, and it has many of the features of the more expensive monitors. Good range between the monitor and the camera. Nice option here.

This monitor serves all my needs perfectly! We love the big viewing screen and the video quality is excellent, even night vision!! I really don’t use any fancy features and love that there’s no wifi it’s literally a plug & go setup. I really like the kick stand for the monitor to be propped up for easy viewing.Couple things of note1) I use a fan in the room the camera is in just for the white noise while my little one sleeps. It’s on a high setting and pretty “loud” the monitor picks it up and sounds like eerie whispering voices. Spooky but not noticeable enough to stop me from using it.2) It doesn’t come with anything to attach the camera to add it other places. So for example, I have one at my mothers house that came with a bendy arm that attaches to the bottom and is able to wrap around posts, rails, etc. So with this one you’re limited to having a dresser or shelf nearby.3) When trying to turn the monitor OFF you have to hold the button down for at least 3 seconds or you’ve just put the screen in “dark mode”. I found this out after the fact and heard creepy echos coming from it not realizing it was still on. I don’t care for this feature AT ALL, seems pretty pointless.

This monitor perfectly suits my needs. I have a 14 year-old son with severe autism, so I need to monitor him continuously. I specifically prefer non-Wifi monitors because they work better overall, and I don’t have to always be pulling up the app on my phone to monitor my son. I also love the larger screen. I don’t have the best vision so the large screen is a huge bonus. I use this monitor wherever needed – in his room, the main floor, even the backyard. His bedroom is on the upper floor. When I have the monitor in my room on the main floor, the signal works perfectly. Our home is over 4,000 square feet, so I need the monitor to work at long ranges. I use it in the backyard so I can be inside and still monitor him, and it works perfectly outside as well. The night vision is clear so there is no problem with visual clarity when the room is dark.The zoom-in feature is a must. The pan and tilt adjustment are also necessary for my needs because my son is constantly running around. This way, I can move the camera around in order to spot him (or move along with him). The monitor is very easy to navigate (i.e. volume, brightness, sleep timer, movement of camera, microphone use). It has a convenient kickstand, and the charge holds well. I often carry the monitor around attached to a battery pack because of how much I use it. This is very reasonably priced, especially compared to similar models. I definitely plan on purchasing more in the future. I previously used a different brand but I will be sticking with Vizolink from this point forward. Awesome monitor all around!
