Way Better Than a Mirror – Just a Few Small Quirks
I bought this after getting frustrated with traditional baby mirrors. My car seats are kind of deep, and I could never get a clear view of my baby without craning my neck. This camera setup changed that instantly.Pros:Very Clear Video: The 1080p resolution is excellent. I can actually see my baby’s face and whether his eyes are open or closed. It's reassuring while I’m driving.Night Vision Is a Huge Plus: Works well in low-light conditions — perfect for early morning daycare drop-offs or late-night drives.Wide Angle Covers Everything: I can see the entire backseat, including the sides, which is great in case you have more than one kid or need to monitor movement.Easy to Install: Plug-and-play is no exaggeration. It took me less than 10 minutes to set it up. No wiring needed. I mounted the camera on the headrest and the screen on my dashboard using the included mount.USB Powered: It starts up with the car — no separate on/off button needed.Cons:Suction Mount Could Be Stronger: It holds up, but I had to re-stick it a couple of times on really hot days. I might switch to an adhesive mount long-term.Monitor Could Be Brighter in Daylight: It’s still viewable, but in bright sunlight, you may have to tilt or shield it to reduce glare. No Split Screen or Expandability: It only supports one camera, so if you have twins or plan to monitor two seats, you’ll need a different model.Bottom Line:Much more effective and safer than glancing at a mirror. If you want peace of mind and clear visibility of your baby in the backseat, especially at night, this is a great buy. Just keep your expectations realistic about the mount and brightness.

Easy Setup Baby Car Camera with Clear Image and Flexible Mounting Options
This is a rear-facing car camera system for monitoring infants or toddlers while driving. It features a 5-inch display, 1080P resolution, night vision, and a 170° wide viewing angle. It powers via USB or 12v and supports multiple mounting options for both the camera and monitor.🧪 Personal Use & ExperienceSetup was quick and straightforward—truly plug-and-play. I mounted the camera on the 2nd row seat headrest and ran the cable down the back of the seat, tucked it under the floor mats and alongside the center console, then up to the display mounted on the air vent using the included clip. One thing worth noting is that there's plenty of cable length for both the camera and the power supply. This can be helpful or a bit much, depending on your vehicle size and how tidy you want the install to look. For my SUV, the extra length was a bonus and gave me more flexibility for a clean setup. The monitor provides a clear picture during the day, and the night vision works surprisingly well in low-light conditions. There was no noticeable lag during use, and the wide-angle lens gives a full view of the rear seat.---✅ Pros* Quick, tool-free installation* Plug-and-play design—no apps or syncing required* Clear 1080P image* Effective night vision* Long cable offers flexibility for routing* Includes both adhesive and vent clip mounting options* Wide viewing angle captures full backseat---❌ Cons* Excess cable may require creative routing in compact vehicles* Monitor brightness isn't adjustable, which can affect visibility in direct sunlight/nighttime driving🎯 Final ThoughtsThis camera system offers an easy and reliable way to keep an eye on a rear-facing child without turning around while driving. The variety of mounting options and long cable lengths allow for flexibility, though some may prefer a tidier setup with shorter cables. It’s a great fit for parents who want a dedicated monitor instead of relying on phone apps.

Lots of wiring
Back in the day we relied upon mirrors to keep tabs on the baby in the back. Getting that mirror positioned was tricky and never really all that great. Now we can setup a little camera and screen to get a better view without figuring out all those reflection angles. We can also do things that would have been next to impossible like view two different seats at the same time. This is a package that consists of two cameras, a screen and a plethora of associated mounting hardware. The picture quality from the camera is ok. The screen will show whatever cameras are currently connected. When both cameras are connected the screen shows both images side by side, each image occupying half the screen. There are no controls to select only one camera when both are connected. If you only want to see one camera you have to disconnect the other camera.Speaking of controls, other than a power button there are no controls. Asides from camera selection, there is no way to increase or reduce brightness. The night sensing is automatically controlled by the camera. Sometimes not having any controls can be a blessing as there is nothing to worry about, but I find that having some control over the screen is really beneficial. The thing to be aware of is that this is a fully wired system. There is power wire for the screen and a wire that connects each camera to the screen. Looking at the product description I thought that the cameras were wireless because there were no wires visible.

Poor video quality but you can see your kid
It's definitely not as clear as the picture. Like it works and you can see your kid and it functions well and it's not difficult to set up because it just uses a USB-C however the picture quality is very poor. And it's in black and white from what I can tell and I can't change it from black and white to colour. But you can functionality wise, see your kid and use it which is why I'm giving it three stars.
