Easy set up and connectivity, livestream camera with cool features, pay extra for added features.
Very intuitive design that is flexible for any setup scenario. I got this camera for my pets while they are home alone to ensure they are safe and that we can keep an eye in case of an emergency. Obviously intended for babies but my pets are my babies :) I like this camera because the neck is flexible, can be extended, can be mounted on the wall or furniture. I tried every angle of my living room and ended up wrapping it around a floor lamp for optimal POV of the whole room while on a higher angle than sitting flat on a media console. It only streams live which serves its purpose of making sure my pups are safe or just chilling and not causing any accidents. There are some nice features like showing the temperature and humidity of the unit which has proven to be accurate against other devices I have. There is a lullaby feature to play gentle music from the phone app or you can talk through the mic to the camera device (I have used it mainly to scare my partner in the living room but we don't want to freak out the dogs if they are home alone and confuse them). I think the most helpful feature on the phone app is being able to listen as well to see if my dogs are crying or whining on the other side if I'm not home. All the features I've mentioned are free and can be watched one more than one device as my partner and I have accessed it at the same before. There are other features like movement notifications like a ring bell camera or recordings to see the entire duration. The livestream itself serves its purpose for what I need it for. Great product!

USB-Wired Nanny Cam, a lot of the settings require a paid subscription on Netvue App
Review for: "NETVUE Peekababy Baby Camera, Camera & Audio, 4-in-1 Crib Mount, Smart App, Sleep Analysis, Blue"Brand: NETVUEColour: Light BlueFirst look: The Light Blue Netvue Peekababy Camera came in a box (26.8 cm x 16.7 cm x 7.1 cm) with the User manual, Quick start guide, another information sheet, and a thank you card with support information. The box also contained the mounting clamp, USB-C to USB-C cable (78" / 98 cm long), USB-C to USB-A adapter, USB-A wall plug with UL safety certification for use in Canada, mounting pole & extension pole, white disassembly tool (for taking the poles apart), and the wall-mount box with screw template & hardware. There is a microSD (TF) card slot but the card is not included. The USB port is on the stem of the camera.Measurements: The camera bends at the bottom to be able to sit up on its own, but the gooseneck isn't long enough to wrap well around the crib bars. The height of the piece with the camera is about 17 cm high when bent to sit or 35.5 cm high when straight. The camera itself is about 7.5 cm high x 6 cm wide x 2.8 cm deep. The mounting pole is 20 cm long x 2 cm wide and the extension tube is 25.8 cm high.App: The camera uses the app "Netvue - In Sight In Mind" (2.1 stars, 3K reviews, 500K+ downloads on Android). I filled in the email and password and then it took me to a screen that said I needed to download a different app: "Netvue Next - In Sight In Mind" (3.2 stars, 173 reviews, 10K+ downloads). Then I signed back in with the email and password I created on the other one. It asked if the light was on the camera which it was, then wanted to pair with the monitor. This set doesn't come with a monitor and there was no "skip" button. I ended up saying something to the effect of "yes it's paired" for it to go to the next screen.Opinion: I tried to use the app but a lot of the options require a paid subscription. For example, the cooldown time has a minimum of 5 minutes without the subscription, and there is no way to adjust the video length without paying. There are separate fees for the Continuous Video Recording and the Moment Video Recording. I have tested quite a few nanny cams and usually the subscription is only for extra cloud space. Others also come with a monitor. On this one, the video "Moments" that were recorded for free are 12 seconds or less in length with 5 mins between each video. I didn't find the video or sound quality that great compared to others. The app has alerts for motion but it seems you need to pay to get alerts for sound. Because this camera is wired it can be a choking hazard so mount it where the baby can't reach the wire. I would prefer a rechargeable nanny camera for that reason. On a positive note, the live view works fine and can easily record or take a picture with a press of a button.

Easy but Paywalled
To The Point:Setup is a breeze, but most of the smart features are locked behind a subscription — and no ONVIF means no flexibility. My Opinion:The NETVUE Peekababy gets the basics right for a baby cam:Setup took just minutes, and the app is user-friendly for quick access. The camera and audio quality are solid — clear video and decent sound pickup. The 4-in-1 crib mount is versatile and makes positioning hassle-free.Unfortunately, almost every “smart” feature (like sleep analysis and extended playback) is hidden behind a hefty subscription. No ONVIF means you’re stuck in the NETVUE ecosystem — can’t route it to third-party software or local storage solutions.Pro Tip:If you're using this just as a live-feed monitor, it’s fine — just don’t expect real functionality unless you’re willing to pay monthly. My Verdict:I’d give this 3 out of 5 stars for ease of setup and basic monitoring. It’s a decent baby cam if you’re okay with limited features or willing to subscribe, but not for those wanting integration or full control.I hope this helps!Cheers,Straight Shooter
