i dont understand negative comment
Some people just have unattainable expectstion i guess or used this product wrong.The image quality at night is insane, we had a Vtech that was suppose to be decent and this one blows it out the water. At night we can easily see our child breathe, hell you can even see the fibers of their pajamas in the dark. also the wide angle makes it super easy to see the whole crib/room even from up close. The zoom goes all the way to 8X with barely any image quality loss.You can set motion and noise detection and easily set it to your desired tolerance as a parent. Our old camera had that feature but it didnt work what so ever, this one super easy and works great. The monitor will be off most of the time unless you touch a button and will only turn on if motion or sound, beyond what you set it at, is detected. The monitor will then turn on just like the sound so you can see whats going on, after a while if nothing is detected anymore is goes back in sleeping mode. Set up this way, even unplugged, the monitor’s battery can last almost a full day.Battery life : like stated just before, programmed properly no problem. if you set it so its always on the monitor will last about 3hours or so same as your phone if you watch a movie in one go on it. pretty decent.the light on the camera itself is amazing, there is a touch button on the camera to turn it on, you can program the color and brightness on the monitor or the app, so you can easily check on your child at night if needed.The app works great, the only issue is that it can take between 15-30seconds to connect the image sometime but thats it.The song option on the camera, in my opinion, are terrible. i find them to be too loud and incredibly annoying.

Good battery life, connectivity issue and blurry images
We bought this dual camera in replacement of a perfectly functioning single camera monitor.We started having connectivity issues the first day. Both cameras keep disconnecting and reconnecting and the screen is often blurred. Since then, we have to constantly reconnect the cameras to prevent having connectivity issues. Usually, this fix the connectivity issue for a few days.The cameras are also very sensible to the night mode (black and white). The screen becomes blurry if there’s any surface that could reflect back ir light to the camera. Our older camera was placed exactly at the same place and the picture quality was perfect, even in night mode.However, the picture quality during the day is very good.We are disappointed with theses issues considering the expensive price tag and the fact that is a known brand.UPTADE : i’ve dowgraded to one star since the unit is becoming less and less reliable to the point where we are missing crying events during the night because of the poor connection.Update after one year. We are now having troubles charging the unit. At this point we are looking to buy an alternative. Don’t buy.

Awesome baby monitor! Buy it.
I don’t know why this monitor doesn’t have more 5 star reviews. We tried out a few monitors (Nooie, hello baby) and none were as good as this one. Things we love about it:- you can check on baby from an app on your phone as well as the parent monitor. Super nice to have both- this monitor has lots of settings, you can adjust motion and sound sensitivity, set temperature and humidity alerts. All this has been important in monitoring baby as her room often gets warm in the summer.- monitor and camera travel well and connect easily- camera has a sharp image and great night vision (just make sure it’s focused correctly)- you can talk through it, and night light feature is nice- the app comes with a ton of extra features like screenshots, milestone apps, and lots of info on baby development that was surprisingly useful and well written.Things I don’t love:- for whatever reason our phones wouldn’t connect to the camera when we travelled but the parent monitor would. So be sure to bring it when you travel.

Great when it works, doesn’t work for long
Don’t waste your time with this product. It really is a great unit when it is working correctly but unfortunately it runs into issues quickly and is not reliable. We have been using this less than one year and are currently waiting for our 3rd unit to arrive under warranty. First unit worked great for several months but then started having issues with the alerts and recordings. It completely stopped recording events even with all of the correct settings, started missing alerts, and the video was very stuttering and choppy. Leapfrog replaced this under warranty and within 2 months the replacement unit had the exact same issue. Must be a defective design

Arrived faster than expected, was very easy to set up and the screen display is perfect! I can use this all the way outside which is amazing! the controls are user friendly and you can see every detail on the video. I do with the battery life was better but its not the worst. Thank you!

The mobile app is not working in Saudi Arabia so you lose a lot of functions that can be used via app. Overall the quality is fine, we are able to use it in 2-floor townhouse

App is only available in US. Hence it’s quite useless for us when we want to access the camera outside

Don’t waste your money.Keeps disconnecting. Reset and reset and keeps disconnecting. Then they told me it was my phone was the issue.I have one work phone. Same. And my wife’s phone. Same.Just keeps disconnecting

Worked great for a couple of months and then stopped working. App glitched and then then the hardware too. Now I’m stuck with a non functional camera while the leapfrog support is completely useless.
