Great product, great customer service
We had an older version of this monitor and unfortunately the screen broke! We had to upgrade but our old model was no longer carried in Canada. The manufacturer was so helpful and got us set up with this new version. The quality is excellent, the night vision has significantly improved and has great lighting. The camera view has also increased. I am also excited about the option to have split view between the cameras so I can see both kiddos at the same time! The brightness and volume options are now quicker to access as well. I’m very impressed with the many upgrades they have made to their monitor system, but even more impressed by the quality of customer service I have received!

Trash don’t buy
I’ve owned two of these. The first I got as a baby shower gift and the monitor stopped working after about 8 months. It wouldn’t stay on without being plugged into the charger. When I reached out to hello baby because I was still within the warranty period then customer service was horrible. They refused to recognize their own warranty because I got it from Amazon even though I still had the original receipt.You would think this would deter me but to be honest at the time I really did like the monitor and its simplicity. I thought maybe I just got unlucky so I purchased another one. My second one stopped working after about 5 months. The monitor just went black and all you could hear was sound. Frustrated I bought a different brand because I felt there was no point in reaching out to the company because I had such a bad experience to begin with.

HelloBaby customer service stands behind their products
We are so happy with our new monitor and the customer service from the HelloBaby team! Our first HelloBaby monitor screen broke after barely over a year of use and it is discontinued and not able to replace just the screen. They offered us a generous discount to the complete unit and we were able to upgrade to this model. The image quality especially at night is amazing! We can even see baby’s little eyelashes! The split screen viewing is ideal for watching two kids at once. These new cameras have a nightlight option which is amazing! It is not too bright and perfect for the middle of the night wake ups. The range is fantastic on these units, our babies room is on the second floor of our home and I can reach all the way out into our backyard garden. There is only one slightly negative thing I have to say about this unit is the temperature reading is not accurate it reads approximately 5-8 degrees Celcius higher than the room actually is

Great monitor and camera
We really like this monitor! Very clear image day and night. Quick and easy set up, just plug in and turn on the camera and monitor and they connect quickly. We were looking for a wifi free unit that still offered a large range. We have no connection issues using the monitor on our front porch when the babies room is in the second story of our old brick house. This is our second time purchasing a unit from hellobaby and we would purchase again.

Older models are better
I love my older 2 camera hellobaby monitor but this one always plays the volume on 1 camera in the rotating monitored mode, regardless of the vox setting. I contacting the manufacturer thinking it was a flaw in our camera and was told it was correct. But this means all night long you can hear the camera flipping rooms with white noise picking up on 1 camera (white noise in the rooms is very very quiet, we tried lowering the white noise machine in the room to the lowest setting as well). So even when the camera screen is off you hear this white noise turning on and off every few seconds. We ended up returning it because of this feature.

The camera quality isn’t bad, it’s easy to set up and use but I really wish the cord were longer.

Big upgrade from old unit
I had a 2nd hand vtech baby monitor, the battery life and video quality were terrible. This unit is a huge upgrade, the picture quality is great! I can actually see my lo on the monitor. The battery life as been great so far, 1 full charge and last through the night which is what I was looking for. Initial I had some issues with charging the unit, but I’ve reached out to the seller and they were able to resolve my issue by sending me a replacement unit. The only thing is switching from night mode to daylight gets delayed, sometimes I have to move the camera angle then it will switch to daylight mode, minor concern not a deal breaker.

I love this monitor, I got it because my original monitor’s battery life was terrible and with the night vision I could barely see my daughter. The camera was easy to install, I love the size of the screen, the view is very clear, it’s not laggy at all, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg which was a major plus. I also love how easy it is to use and how easy it is to set up. When it comes time for baby number two I will 100% be buying a second camera to use it as a split screen.10 out of 10 recommend.

We really love this baby monitor! The best thing about it is that it doesn’t need Wi-Fi. We have another camera that’s Wi-Fi connected, and when the Wi-Fi stops working (which happens a lot), it’s such a headache. This one works perfectly every time without any of that hassle.The video and sound quality are great, and being able to move the camera using the monitor is such a nice feature. The signal is super reliable no matter where we are in the house. Overall, it’s been awesome and exactly what we needed!

Really easy to set up. It was pretty much just plug and play. The picture quality is pretty good and I love that you can pan the camera around the room from the monitor. My one dislike is the volume controls. Even when I have it on the lowest volume setting, it’s pretty loud. Now that my little one is a bit older, I don’t want to hear every quiet little sound. So I wish I could turn the volume down a little lower. The battery life when unplugged is really long- pretty much all day long. Overall i would definitely recommend.
