Disappointing purchase
Disappointing purchase – The internal light (not the night light) stays on constantly and glows through the entire unit, lighting up the nursery at night. We tried covering it with tape, but it still shines through. It’s so bright it feels like it could be a flaw in the machine—or like it wasn’t designed by a parent at all. On top of that, the lid has already warped and feels cheaply made. I wish I had gone with a different model.

Does it’s job of holding wipes and heating them slightly.
I really wanted to like this product more since it’s by Munchkin, but the longer I use it the more design flaws I come across. After 3 months of use I’ve down graded my review to only 3 starts due to it missing some very key features, it doesn’t have a power button and the lid doesn’t snap close to seal in the moisture. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great sturdy plastic that will last and it does exactly as it’s intend, to hold wipes and heat them a little. The problems, or cons, I have are all the little features that could easily been upgraded to make this a 5 star item.Cons: you have to have the heat on all the time while plugged in. Rather than adding an on/off button (perhaps the one on the front) it has to stay on all the time or you have to unplug it to turn the heat off. This is a bit annoying since the purpose is to have them heated prior to use, but leads to a bit of a safety concern that you now have to play around with the plug to get the heat to stop. At first I was worried to leave it heating while away from the house, but 3 months later I’ve now determine it produces so little heat on the exterior and only through the top, I’ve stopped worrying if I accidentally forget to unplug it. Still an easy adjustment that could have made the container all that much better and safer.Con: The little button on the front is only to turn the very weak light on. Rather than make this a power button for the heat it actual just turns on a very dim light that you sort of can see into the container with. It’s not bright enough to be a proper night light and only stays on for about an hour. Making it an interesting add feature, but not a good substitute for what that button should do.Con: the latches on the side to hold the lid down are a bit weak and finicky. I find when the wipes get low and you have to tug harder to get them out the latches wiggle and will occasionally shift to open. It doesn’t happen a lot to be that big of an issue, but another feature that could use some tweaking to upgrade and be made to hold on a little stronger. They don’t seem to have to be pushed far from open to close, which I think is a big part of why they don’t stay in place the way the latches are intended to hold the top down.Con: this is my biggest design dislike, the flap at the top doesn’t snap closed. It just sits closed and doesn’t provide any real seal to keep the moisture of the wipes in. I often find the top of the exposed wipe starts to dry out quickly without the heat on. With the heat on the exposed wipe stays wet a little longer since it’s causing moisture droplets to build up on the green flap and drip back onto the wipes. For a wet wipe holder I’m a little surprised that the lid doesn’t close better.Since there’s already a button on the front it would have been better designed to make it either a power switch or a lid latch than a rather useless light button.Overall the sturdy plastic material is enough to make the container a decent buy and I know it’ll last for as long as we need it to. I personally just wish that Munchkin would put a little more thought into the features to make this an even better wipe holder. Compared to other containers the plastic body seems to be sturdier so I would probably buy this one again if needed simply for that.

Great idea and works well. Wipes are kept warm so you aren’t using cold wipes on the baby and startling them. Easy to use. Size fits a pack of baby wipes perfect.

Must have
My baby did not like cold wipes. At first I thought because she was a June baby that shed be okay and that the wipes would be warm enough. However, that was not the case. Shes so much happier with her wipes being warmed. Super user friendly and easy to refill. Warms wipes pretty quickly without drying them out. Must have for babies.

Mon bébé pleure avec les lingettes froides donc ça règle le problèmePoints positifs par rapport à d’autres :- chauffe par le haut, pas de risques dincendie- couvercle bloqué facilite l’extraction des lingettes d’une seule mainPoints négatifs :- prend beaucoup de place- doit être connecté en permanence sur secteur donc pas très pratique quand on change bébé à plusieurs endroits de la maison- La veilleuse est utile pour les changes de nuit, par contre le témoin lumineux qui reste allumé en permanence éclaire trop- Les lingettes sont effectivement chaudes mais refroidissent très vite une fois sorties

Honestly so many people told me not to bother getting a wipe warmer but I could not have been without it in the winter! Stopped her from fully waking up during nighttime changes. Now that my daughter is older it is also less of a fight if I want to wipe her face after dinner. It doesn’t make the wipes hot or very warm – it just takes the edge off. The light is a handy feature for nighttime as it meant I didn’t have to put a lamp/room light on to change. It is a US plug though so you will need an adapter.
