Great product. Such a first world problem, getting frustrated getting wet wipes out one handed when changing a baby but this is awesome. Have told all new mum friends to get one.

Although this is not exactly a necessity but rather a luxury item, it is absolutely worth the buy. Other than its clean and sleek design, it does make a difference during all the diaper changes, especially the late night ones. It’s much better to have this next to you rinsyead of noisy plastic wipe wraps that get more annoying as they get empty. I have been using it for 2 months now and am so glad I bought it! The Amazon brand wipes fits perfectly in it, but I had other packs of 80 wipes that are a little tight but still fit regardless. 10/10 recommend!

It was time to buy something more durable after the last remaining reusable tubs from years ago were on their last legs (Cottonelle, Charmin, Scott used to sell them without the flip cap. The one on the right has a flip cap which we don’t like). Companies don’t sell them anymore when you buy the wipes, they all have a plastic wrapping with an inexpensive flip top that you throw away, the packaging isn’t reusable.Oxo got it right. When you open it, it’s a big area inside. You can choose to use the weighted piece or not. My husband said the weighted piece is perfect. It works very well with the Equate brand of flushable wipes. they don’t break when you pull the wipe from under the weighted piece.I took a photo of the back side to show the durable “hinge”. Wow. This thing should last awhile. I hope so, because the price seems high, almost $20 (but other sites have it for $22.99). I kind of laughed at the price when I saw it. Wanted to spend a max of $10 (thinking $10 was high) but couldn’t find anything! But also seems hard to find the Oxo “flushable wipes” size or any other brand for that matter that had the smaller, flushable wipes size. There are lots of the baby wipes size out there. Since it was looking like the smaller size was hard to find, I gave it a go. I didn’t see anything that was comparable, sure there were others to choose from but not with this functionality, such a well built design, with the silicone type lid to make sure it’s air tight when you close it. Also, it is easy to open and close with a touch of the finger. The old cottonelle one was hard to open if you didn’t use the flip part.Added photos to show size comparison to the basic other brand old style tubs, how it looks next to a tissue box, the inside and the back hinge area (this is important because the hinge is usually the part that breaks on the old style cottonelle tub). The see through window adds a nice touch, to tell when you’re running low.This gets 5 stars for being what we wanted. Very durable, easy to use, looks better than having a wipes pack on the counter, the white blends in with the toilet, and isn’t huge – I didn’t want a baby wipes size tub. This is the real deal, Amazon delivered, got exactly what we ordered.

This appears to be a well designed and well constructed item and it works well with Andrex wipes. It is comparatively large, much more so than the cheap plastic dispenser once available. However, its smooth surface and easy opening lid are a delight. Delivery was quicker than expected and the item arrived in perfect condition. It seemed mad to pay so much money for a wipe dispenser but I am really pleased with the purchase and, now we have used it, think it was well worth the money for the quality, hygiene and convenience.

Important to note there are TWO sizes of this!
I have them both, but the complaints I’ve seen in the reviews are because people didn’t know which one they were getting. THIS one is sized for small wipes – like the Cottonelle and other brands you can buy for adults to use in the bathroom. It will NOT fit Huggies or other “diaper wipes” of that size. I mistakenly bought the big one first, before realizing they also make this small one. Bottom line – this is a piece of engineering genius and if you use wipes in the bathroom you NEED this. The cheap plastic containers bathroom wipes come in tend to – be easily pulled off the counter, have fiddly small holes to poke the wipes through, let you accidentally pull out several at once, or don’t latch securely and let your wipes dry out. This solves ALL those problems. I couldn’t picture what they meant about a “weight” but now it makes perfect sense – the thing you pull the wipes through is heavy and sits right on top of the wipes. The hole in the middle of it is large, so if you have cheap wipes that don’t want to dispense themselves correctly, it’s easy to reach in and grab them. Since it’s not attached to the box, it “floats” and pops right out to replace the wipes. The box is very sturdy and not easy to pull off the counter accidentally, and I think between that and the weight sitting right on the wipes, it helps keep them moist and fresh – not a lot of room for air to circulate around them. The latch itself is secure and only requires a one finger press for it to open (very handy in the bigger size when you have a squirming baby to contend with!). One reviewer says that the weight is too heavy and tears the wipes, but I haven’t had a problem with this and have tried it with Cottonelle , Costco (Kirkland) and Walmart wipes. It is heavy enough to only allow one to pop out at a time, but not heavy enough to tear any wipes I’ve tried. Really, it just provides a little resistance. This is just a ridiculous item for me to be so excited about, but I love it and want one in every bathroom. I also plan to buy the larger one for baby gifts from now on!

Fantastic wipes dispenser
Who wrote the feature list for this? The features include sheerness, stretch, and sturdiness. I opted for five stars for each, but I must inform you that the wipes dispenser is neither sheer nor stretchy – both good features to be absent from a wipes dispenser. What it does do well is dispense wipes. The weighted insert keeps the wipes package secure, and the seal keeps the wipes from drying out. The ‘press to open’ feature makes accessing wipes super easy. Product is very well-made and I can attest that it is in fact “sturdy”. Highly recommended! Great for wipes up to about 6” x 4.25”. If you need one for baby wipes, choose Oxo’s other version for baby wipes.

Arrived quickly. Very good quality. Perfect fit for facial make up removal wipes or flushable toilet wipes. Wipes stay moist. Sleek design. Be sure to measure carefully. Baby wipes will not fit in theses dispensers.

This OXO wipes dispenser has an ingenious design
This item was a real splurge and the smaller size is excellent for a myriad of smaller wipe sizes. (not baby wipes)The design is quite ingenious and well-thought-out, except for one potential design flaw. In my opinion, the latch on the lid requires quite a bit of pressure to open and close the box and my concern is its durability over time. Despite this, I’ve no regrets purchasing it. Oxo makes excellent quality products and this Good Grips wipes container far exceeds everything else I’ve seen on the market. Thanks to the silicone strip and the firm seal for maintaining moisture content, it’s the best!Upon first glance, the box appeared a different size than expected, but mostly because of the very large and robust hinge at the back. Also, the dimensions, noted in the online description, differ from the actual dimensions of the dispenser I received. Upon measuring, its actual dimensions are 6.6 inches long, 5.87 inches wide and 3.6 inches tall.It’s attractive, though; its bright white matches the toilet, the design is sleek, clean and simple, and its soft curves make it unique and easy to look at.The weighted plate makes a one-wipe-at-a-time removal a breeze. The four rubber or silicone pads on the bottom prevent it from sliding around and its heft (weight) contributes to its stability on any surface.At first glance, I could see a space between the sides and the lid when closed; however, this is by design, and not a flaw.My only concern is the potential durability of the small latch that keeps the lid shut. Were that to break, wear down or otherwise fail, the box would be rendered useless; especially since it utilizes such a strong spring hinge.All in all, it’s a pleasure and easy to use, but I docked one star for its potentially weak closing mechanism; quite possibly, a built-in obsolescence issue. And, if product size were a strict issue, customers would be disappointed about the incorrect dimensions stated in the description.

Great for flushable wipes.
Perfect. High quality. Mixed reviews may come from those purchasing the wrong sized unit. This item is for standard flushable wipes. This is NOT for baby wipes. There is size difference.No issues at all with wipes drying out.

Must have if you use wipes!
I was not sure how this product would work when I ordered it but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The weight that sits on top of the wipes is perfect for ensuring you only get one at a time. The seal around the lid keeps the wipes fresh and moist for as long as required. Not only is it a more decorative and organized way to store your wipes but it functions better than pulling them directly from their original package. Extremely happy with this little purchase.

Best functioning wipe container I’ve ever used
I absolutely recomend these for baby wipes or your own moist wipes. The weighted plate is everything. I have one in each bathroom and the baby’s room.
