I’ve been a huge fan of MaskIT since the very beginning of their company, and I honestly can’t recommend their products enough. As someone who’s passionate about supporting women-owned businesses and making environmentally responsible choices, MaskIT checks every box for me.When I had my first baby over five years ago, they hadn’t yet released diaper-sized MaskITs. I made do by using their large sizes designed for period pads to wrap up poopy diapers. It worked great up until about size 2 diapers—then the fit just wasn’t quite right anymore. So you can imagine how thrilled I was during my next pregnancy to find out they had finally launched versions specifically for diapers!I immediately reached out to the company and got my hands on them as fast as I could. While Amazon is convenient for quick Prime delivery, I usually order directly from their website. The pricing is better, and you can get a value or case pack (150 MaskITs!) which is a much better bang for your buck—especially since babies go through diapers fast.Why MaskIT is Better Than Anything Else Out There:* They actually block out all smell. Unlike diaper genies or trash cans that release a wave of stench every time you open the lid, MaskITs trap the odor completely. I can toss a dirty diaper into a regular open trash can and it doesn’t smell or even look bad. The white color blends right in.* Perfect for on-the-go AND at home. Restaurants often ask you not to leave dirty diapers behind—but it’s not just restaurants. A lot of places you go, from play areas to amusement parks and even pediatric offices, have signs asking you not to throw soiled diapers in the trash. Honestly, that’s unfair to parents. Expecting us to pack in and pack out dirty, smelly diapers—especially when blowouts happen—is just not realistic. These places should be offering a solution, and MaskIT is that solution. But even if they don’t offer it, if you have MaskIT, throwing the diaper out is never a problem. I keep the MaskITs with me in the diaper bag and I can wrap it up, seal it, and throw it away discreetly anywhere or keep the diapers with me in a MaskIT with it staying clean and no smell, if a trash isn’t available.* If a place claims to be family-friendly—like play places, water parks, even somewhere as big as Disneyland—they should be thinking about what parents actually need. Offering or even just being aware of a product like MaskIT would make a huge difference.* Mess-free diaper changes. When that inevitable diaper blowout happens, MaskIT makes cleanup way easier. I can grab the diaper without getting poop all over my hands.* Postpartum friendly. After giving birth naturally, I wore adult-sized diapers for bleeding, and even those fit perfectly in these!* Guilt-free and planet-friendly. I feel good using these because they aren’t made of typical plastic. Adding more plastic to the world just isn’t something I can justify, even for a great product—but MaskIT offers an eco-conscious alternative.* Ethically made. They pay their employees a livable wage (not just minimum wage), and they partner with One Tree Planted. That speaks volumes about their values and integrity.Where I Keep Them: I stock MaskITs everywhere—my car, the diaper bag, and by the changing table at home. They’re so convenient and discreet, I wish more parents knew about them. Honestly, I believe doctors’ offices, restaurants, and kid-friendly facilities should offer these as a standard. Even my pediatrician’s office has a sign saying not to leave diapers in the trash, which feels unrealistic without a product like MaskIT around.If cost is a concern, definitely check out their website. The prices are lower than Amazon, especially when you buy in bulk. It lasts longer and saves you the hassle of reordering all the time.Bottom Line: MaskIT is truly a superior product—for diapers, periods, and any time you need a clean, discreet, odor-blocking disposal option. These bags are good size and easy to use. The bags arrive in a small box. These bags are large enough to easily hold dirty diapers and wipes. Each bag can be sealed to contain the odor of diapers, allowing you to then place them in trash cans when out and about.These bags are kind of pricey. They’re a lot more expensive than the roll style diaper bags (or even dog poop bags). While these are really nice and work great, I think in the future I’m apt to get more of the cheaper disposal bags, since these are a lot more expensive. While they are easy to use, and contain the smell (they are also thicker and nicer), I just can’t justify the extra cost and will be getting more of the diaper bags that come in a roll.

This product is great! Perfect for on the go parents. We got our Maskit diaper disposal bags this week and love them. They are easy to use and there is Zero odor! Highly recommend using this environmentally conscious product.

These bags work very well. They block the scent of the stinkiest diapers. The size is perfect for all size diapers. I think it’s neat that the bag isn’t thick but it blocks smells. This design is very cool and easy to use.

These MaskIT Diaper Disposal Bags are packaged with an additional outer box to ensure the product box doesn’t get damaged. These bags are truly scent-free and thick too. Very good quality. You can easily grab one at a time and the bags don’t stick together. The adhesive is good and you can peel part of it off and re-position it if necessary. To use the adhesive, note that as the product listing says, you put your hand into the bag, grab the diaper, and then pull the rest of the bag around it. That way, you don’t have to touch the diaper at all.
