Worth getting these original brand version
I actually prefer these original brand name version. The no name ones are cheaper but they’re actually cheaper in quality as well. These are nice and thick and have never broken on me, which if that’s ever happened to you, it sucks. I live in a condo so having the bag break on the way to the compost sucks. These aren’t that much more expensive relative to the cheapo ones so rather than riskin the need to clean all sorts of things off the carpet, best to get get these real ones.

The Overpriced Bag That Keeps on Giving!
These Playtex Diaper Genie Refills are super overpriced, in my opinion. It’s just one large garbage bag, but hey, they worked. I always seemed to use too much bag, though. It’s like trying to ration a fancy trash bag for royal diapers. Diaper duty is already a challenge, and these refills just add a bit of financial flair to the mix. If only I could figure out how to stretch them without feeling like I’m wrapping a mummy!

Much better than the no-name brand alternative
Have been using these and the tall diaper genie with foot pedal for the last year and a half. Tried using the no-name brands for a bit, but those wouldn’t slide and drop along with the diapers as well as the name brand Playtex refills. So, for ease of use, I don’t mind paying the slightly higher price difference.

We only use these for soiled diapers just because they’re so expensive. But they work really well – no smell at all and we only end up cleaning it once a week.

just a high price to pay for bags. Could be designed in a more economical way. sometimes i think just using a garbage bin with a lid works just as well. You can always add a carbon filter to the lid and will be the same thing

Goodbye stinky nursery!
Diaper genies are a game changer. I never had one for my first child, and I paid the price. My oldest no longer announces that my baby’s room smells like a “poo factory” so i consider this to be a very effective product.

Works well and fits the diaper genie perfectly
Basically it’s a tube of plastic in a plastic role. Works really well in the diaper genie and it doesn’t smell. It isn’t cheap… but diapers sit in there for 2 weeks and there are no issues with smell.

These last longer than I expected. With a newborn, 3 pack lasted 3 months! 1 a month! And boy does he have a lot of diapers. Helps reduce smell but sometimes they are that strong. Easy functioning though- my husband caught on quick!
