Cute piece but not safe enough to leave baby unattended in it
I like it but I don't love it. Mine came with a black stain on the lace which is unfortunate. It's simple to build and uses hand tied knots at the bottom of each cross section to hold it in place. I wish there was clamps as a backup for the knots. The design is chic and quite Scandinavian. The pillow inserts flop to the middle and do not always stay upright on their own when the swing is empty. I wish the inserts were more firm and padded. Firstly because there's not a ton of padding between the wooden bar and their back. And secondly because there's quite a bit of space in the swing and down the legs. So I tend to insert other small pillows myself to create a more snug fit. There's a belt to go around the waist but the belt does not go through the legs. And the belt can slip off of its buckle (which it did during transport), so does not feel secure to me. For that reason you have to be so careful when using this to watch that your baby doesn't slip down through one of the leg holes. The hardware is thick and of good quality. The rope itself I don't love. I wish it had a slight stretch to it and was less slippery. And while it's nice it comes in a carry bag, it's not an attractive bag; generic black, lower quality. Baby enjoys this, it's a cute piece, but I find it lacks comfort and safety features.
