I bought this Bouncer Infant Seat for my fourth baby to replace an old one, and I wish I’d gotten it sooner! My baby started enjoying it at just two months old—he’s fascinated by the lights and music, and the vibrations help him fall asleep. It’s also surprisingly sturdy, surviving even my heavy three-year-old climbing into it. I’m hoping it lasts well beyond the weight limit!

I had high hopes for the Baby Einstein Ocean Explorers Musical Bouncer — and there’s definitely a lot to like. The build is solid, the colors are bright and engaging, and it feels very safe and well-made overall. My 5-month-old was visually curious about it right away.However, the sound experience is quite underwhelming, especially considering that Baby Einstein usually gets this part right. The so-called “water sound effects” ended up being more annoying than soothing — repetitive and not relaxing at all. There are two music modes, but honestly, neither my baby nor I could tell much of a difference between them. The musical variety is limited, and the overall audio quality feels like a missed opportunity for such a thoughtfully designed product.In short: great looks, lacking in substance. If your baby is particularly responsive to music, I’d consider a different option.

I bought this to have when my granddaughter comes to visit. She absolutely loves sitting in it. There is music that plays for 20 minutes or small little bits of music when the baby kicks. There is also a vibrator that I never really used. I recommend this bouncer!!

So this thing so far has been amazing! My little 3 month old hates all swings and bouncy chairs. We got this one because of the lights, and he loves it. Definitely a great by. It would be nice if it plugged in as well as batteries, but I forgive that.
