It’s a vibrator, not a rocker
The HOTOIQ Baby Rocker is a decent product for parents seeking a portable, soothing solution for their babies. It has five adjustable speed and vibration intensities providing a customizable experience to help calm little ones. It’s also USB rechargeable, making it convenient and eco-friendly. Its lightweight design fits perfectly with most strollers, bouncers and cribs making it easy to use on the go. Overall, it’s a simple yet effective tool to help babies sleep and stay relaxed.To be clear, calling this tool a “rocker” or “bouncer” is false advertising. It’s a glorified vibrator. For this reason, I knocked off 1 Star.

I have not been able to get the device to stay in the optimal completely upright position that the manufacturer recommends, it is too heavy so when it starts in the ideal position it slides to pointing down no matter how much I try to tighten it, however it still works and I have found mounting it pointing slightly upright to be the best compromise. The vibrations are enough to keep a newborn happy while you use your hands for other things, and it is very quiet. It could be improved by having an indicator to show which level of vibration you are on, in the video I have included it goes through all the levels while attached to the handle of a Silver Cross Pioneer pram. You are supposed to be able to remove the device from the strap while leaving the strap in place, but personally I have found it very difficult to get it off the strap and easier just to remove the whole thing.

First things first the design of this baby bouncer is so much fun and befitting the product’s purpose. It’s shaped like an eg with the little hatching slowly popping out of its shell. It’s very eye-catching. It has three tripod tendrils at the bottom so that’s the only weird thing as it looks like a 3-legged chicken. But with its main functionality being a bouncer and a rocker, it’s fantastic. Operation is very easy by pressing a button and the + and 1 buttons gives you easy access to raise or lower the bounce.The package comes with two mounts which zip ties to a pole or a frame and allows for either a vertical or horizontal orientation. Unsure why you get two but I’m not complaining as it means you can install the mounts at two different places and easily transfer the bouncer from one to the other. That said, the zipties has a release button so you are not permanently connected to just one or two places. They are detachable and remountable.There is a timing mode and multiple bounce settings so you can play around until you find the right setting with the desired effect. A warning that setting number 5 is practically an earthquake so maybe do not use that option unless absolutely necessary. This just means the range on which you can apply its bounce function is very wide.It’s built very well and looks to be a good quality product.
